Advance Credit Exams

  • Overview

    Advance Credit Exams offer students who meet eligibility requirements the opportunity to earn credit for courses at UL Lafayette.  Students can take Advance Credit Exams during our Early Orientation program or prior to the start of each term. 

     

    Early Orientation Advance Credit Exams

    We offer several opportunities for students to take Advance Credit Exams during our Early Orientation program. Registration for these exams takes place in conjunction with Orientation registration.  Students taking Advance Credit Exams during our Early Orientation Program are required to participate in the Orientation portion of the program.

     

    We will be offering the following Advance Credit Exams for our 2010 Early Orientation Program (March 17 - 19, 2010):

    *Students with a 28 English ACT automatically earn credit for English 101, Introduction to Academic Writing.

    **Credit for Math 270, Calculus I, may not be earned through this exam. Students with a Math ACT of 25 earn automatic credit for Math 105, College Algebra. Students with Math ACT 30+ earn automatic credit for Math 140, Pre-Calculus Algebra.
