All students who will be living in a university residence hall or Legacy Park will be able to move-in beginning at 8:00 AM the morning of camp.  Out of State students should contact Paul Eaton (peaton@louisiana.edu) to set up early arrival options.

    Community Service Project

Our Community Service Project will pair SOUL Camp participants with faculty and student mentors to work on a large community service project in the Acadiana region. Our 2010 project will focus on Education.

    SCVNG rownd da cmps

Get those texting fingers ready. This activity will take groups of campers around campus via a text messaging scavenger hunt.

    SOULcial

Campers will have access to our university recreation center, Bourgeois Hall. You can swim in our aquatic center, play beach volleyball, shoot some hoops, or just relax by the pool.

    Krewe Time

Campers will be placed in small groups called Krewes during camp.  Each Krewe will be facilitated by two of our Student Mentors.

    Pump it Up!

Krewes will showcase their Ragin' Cajun Pride through their chants, skits, and cheers.

    Swap yo Swag

Campers can bring high school spirit apparel to trade with other campers.

    Ragin' Routine

Ragin' Routine is designed to simulate a day on campus. Students will attend five 50 minute "classes" on the topics of Involvement, Career Planning, Leadership, Academics, and Survival.

    Chad Crittenden: Featured Speaker

Chad Crittenden, Survivor Vanautu competitor, will deliver his keynote speech entitled The First Year Experience: Getting off on the Right Foot.
