Math Placement Exam

  • Overview

    The Mathematics Placement test is for students who wish to place into MATH 092, 100, 105, or 107. The Mathematics placement exam may be taken once per semester. Reservations are not required, but students must bring a photo ID, pencil, and simple calculator with them to the test.

     

    Who should consider taking this optional placement test?

    1. Students who have an ACT MATH sub-score of 17 may not schedule MATH at the university without a satisfactory score on this test.

     

    2. Students who have between a 17 and 21 MATH subscore on the ACT who wish to challenge their placement into MATH 092 or MATH 100.
