  • ACT/SAT Scores

    Your ACT/SAT Scores affect your course placement in several subject areas. Make sure you have your most recent ACT/SAT scores electronically submitted to UL 30 days ahead of your Orientation.

    Immunization Compliance

    UL Lafayette requires that students show proof of immunization for measles, mumps, rubella, tetanus-dephtheria-pertussis (whooping cough), poliomyelitis, hemophilus influenza type B, and meningococcal meningitis. Download your Proof of Immunization form and return it to the Office of Admissions or during Orientation.

     

    National Advanced Placement (AP) Scores

    If you took the National AP Exam and earned a 3 or higher, you will earn college credit at UL Lafayette. Be sure to submit your official scores to the Office of Admissions.

     

    Dual Enrollment/College Credit

    Students who participated in Dual Enrollment, or received college credit during high school, either at UL Lafayette or another institution should be sure to bring a copy of their transcript to Orientation listing the courses for which they earned credit. Official transcripts must be mailed to the Office of Admissions, PO Box 41210, Lafayette, LA 70504 in order to receive official credit on your University transcript.

  • Honors Program

    Students with a composite ACT of 26 (SAT 1170) or better will be invited to join the Honors Program, designed to enrich your educational experience. At Orientation you will participate in a special Honors session to learn about program requirements.

     

    Music Major Audition Requirements

    All students planning on majoring in music or music education (Vocal or Instrumental) are required to audition for admittance into the Music program prior to attending Orientation. Contac the School of Music to schedule your audition: 337-482-6016 or e-mail sbeasley@louisiana.edu.

     

    Housing Application

    Housing is provided on a first-come, first-serve basis. To secure your on-campus housing, submit your application and deposit early. Visit the Housing website for more information.

     

    Financial Aid

    All new students receiving any form of financial aid, including TOPS, must file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and submit their information to UL Lafayette (School Code 002031).
