Student Orientation Staff is the premiere student leadership group at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Selection to staff is extremely competitive, and the staff represents the best and brightest of our university. The Student Orientation Staff works to facilitate our Orientation programs, welcoming over 3,000 new students & parents to campus each year.
Members of the Student Orientation Staff participate in an intensive leadership development course during spring semester, designed to prepare them for their role as a member of the team and enhance their personal and team leadership skills. Members of our team develop skills in group problem solving, conflict resolution, interpersonal communication, multicultural understanding, program planning, and team building.
