Transfer with Success
Transfer Students are an important part of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette community, and we are committed to ensuring that you have a successful transition into our university community.
As part of the transition process, all new transfer students are required to attend a one-day Transfer Student Orientation program. This program is designed to assist you with understanding our university culture, your academic program, the transfer credit articulation process, and will familiarize you with navigating our campus. During Orientaiton, you will also have the opportunity to meet with your college dean and members of our faculty, meet other incoming students, and learn about university resources.
Members of our Student Orientation Staff will guide you through your Transfer Student Orientation experience, helping you understand what it means to be a student at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
